Very rare Holland Urania Friedrich Adler Wine Jug. Marked with: Holland Urania 1168.

Great strong Art Nouveau styling. With the handle as a stylised goat.

This jug is still in untouched condition. CONDITION: As it has been close to open fire one side of the jug has some damaged to the silver plate and pewter. Please see photos for better understanding. The lid is still opening and closing fine.

Some loss to silver plate. This wine jug is pictured in a book about Urania by J. Also described as similar jug in the famous book Friedrich Adler, Zwischen Jugendstil und Art Deco, Me 87.
