V. RARE 19th C Victorian Silver Plated Fitted TRIPLE Decanter Tantalus Stand

This listing is for a V. RARE 19th Century Victorian Silver Plated Fitted TRIPLE, footed Decanter Tantalus set with silver plated bespoke rapousse Stand?? This listing is for a really special find.

A triple tantalus with original deep cut glass decanters.. Featuring very elongated thumbprint cuts, diamond cutting above into facet cut towards neck and thousand eye diamond cut neck. The shape of the decanters fit perfectly Into the purpose built recesses. The decanters themselves are an amazing find. Three deep cut footed decanters each with their matching hand blown and cut stoppers.

I believe they date to the late 1800's. There is no mark on the glass as to the maker nor the silver plated stand. The stand is a magnificent foil for the glassware. A very elegant and complementary design.

Great for that special present, either for a special occasion or to keep for your own pleasure. Decanters: Height 12 1/2" x 4" across widest point. Tantalus stand: Height 16" x 9" across two holders.

CONDITION : Excellent condition with two smallish chips to the base edge of one decanter. Please see photo, I have inspected all three decanters and can find only one other sliver chip on the under edge of one decanter. All stoppers are in excellent condition with no damage. The carrying stand is also in excellent condition with no dings or dents.

Silver plating is in very good condition commensurate with its age. The handle plating looks a bit worn. Could do with a little more cleaning.
