Victorian Pickle Castor Eagle Silver Plate Co. Cranberry Glass H. P. Enamel

Victorian Cranberry & Silver Plate. Up for your consideration is a great Victorian Silver Plate Pickle Castor with a Cranberry Insert. The silver plate frame is marked Eagle silver Plate Company.

The lid and tongs are not marked. The Cranberry insert has been hand painted with enameled flowers and gold trim. The frame is 11 1/2" high by 4 5/8" across. The cranberry insert is 4 3/4" high by 3 3/8" across.

The insert has been made with a foot that fits down into the bottom of the frame. The silver plate parts need a good polishing because of tarnishing. There are some light scratchs.

The cranberry insert decoration has some light wear. There are no chips or cracks to this piece. Please consider the photos as part of the description.
