VICTORIAN SILVER HINGED BANGLE With Engraved Design 33mm Wide

Victorian Hinged Bangle with Etched Design to Front. An unusual and very attractive silver-plated Victorian bangle. Of oval shape and made to fit the arm perfectly, this wide, hinged bangle has a beautifully engraved front with swirling floral and foliate design, bordered with a rope-twist pattern and a plain, polished back panel. The edges of the bracelet are gently turned inward, for comfort on the arm and the hinge and closure work perfectly. The silver plate is in really good condition, with the only sign of wear being to the inside of the piece, where it has rubbed slightly to show the yellow metal beneath.
