Vintage Oneida Community Hampton Court Silver Plate Extended Cutlery set for 6 people. This cutlery set was produced by Oneida Community Silversmiths, USA. It is in the design called Hampton Court or Coronation in the USA. This cutlery set is a vintage set and in beautiful condition. The blades are marked Community The backs of the silver plated pieces are marked Community.
The Community cutlery was all double plated over the areas of most wear, this can be seen to the backs of the spoons and forks as a faint circle. This is a setting for 6. 6 hollow handle dinner knives with serrated blades, measuring 238mm long, 6 hollow handle entree knives, measuring 215mm. 6 dinner forks , 6 entree forks, 6 soup spoons, 6 dessert spoons, 6 teaspoons, 6 coffee spoons, 6 cake forks, 6 sweets forks, 6 sweets spoons and a large cake or pie server. As mentioned above all are in very good condition.
There are fine scratches and scuffs from use and cleaning. Some of the dinner forks has some scratches to the tine tips to the back on the left hand side. This is shown in close up detail.
