Vintage Antique Louis Roederer 1776 Champagne Ice Bucket Silver Plated

If you're reading this then you'll already know exactly what you're looking at. This is an original, Louis Roederer Champagne cooler - please note this is such an iconic design that Louis Roederer have re-released this model in recent years. The modern ones are taller, wider and most importantly they're made of steel - this is silver plated (you can tell by the tarnishing). It's MUCH heavier than it's modern equivalent and has brass handles. The modern ones are steel.

It's the original art deco design and, initially I was going to polish it up to look brand new. That would have been a catastrophic mistake as it's the decades of tarnish that make this cooler really stand out and so much.... Antique Louis Roederer Champagne Ice Bucket. Hand crafted in India silver was cheaper there so apparently LR made the buckets there in the 40's! Pictured bottles not included nonalcoholic anyway... Obviously, after so many decades it's well tarnished but there are no dents or bends in the cooler. They used very thick, high grade metal (I think it's brass under the silver plate - much tougher than copper) so it won't dent easily. A fairly straightforward item so nothing can really go wrong with it! Theoretically, you could polish it up to make it look brand new but it definitely looks better like this!
