Wedgewood lilac butter with silver plate lid and under tray. I think by the stamps that it's 1877?

I'm not an expert just research I've done online. In overall excellent condition, a blue mark on side unsure if will clean of, I'm just unsure what to clean with. Any questions please feel free to ask.
