Very early original, onboard use, White Star Line silver plate Toast Rack - in the most desirable 8 slotted design to hold your freshly baked toast. Very rarely seen in this allotment of slots, even in the 20th Century form.

There are no other marks or stamps on the item except for something that looks like a dog bone on the very bottom. This is all original, with 100% of its platting in fine, MINT condition.

This is as if it were brand new. Clearly for the 1st Class Service and likely for the very first White Star liners. The White Star "burgee" is eloquently engraved on ONE side only - the other is blank. Measurements: just over 9 inches x 3-1/2 inches and standing 6 inches in height. For one of you, a very special addition.
