Fully Signed WMF 1920s, Dated according to the mark, N/S Nickel Silver & f. A beautiful and rare collectable piece of WMF Art Deco, Silver Plated (best nickels silver) Butterfly series bonbon dish, marked with a combination of WMF symbols, WMF, N/S, f. Its design is Art Deco / Jugenstil with stunningly beautiful handles, highly decorated with intricate features and a butterfly resting on top of each handle. The main body is completely decorated with precision Art Deco and Jugenstil designs which look very stylish, the stand is circled with flowers around the base. This piece has retained its original Blue Glass Insert liner, vibrant blue and without any damage whatsoever. This piece of WMF is larger than normal and of superior quality and condition, perfect style as you would expect from one of the best Metal ware companies in the world, WMF. No silver loss at all, Perfect. Metal work is perfect, no bends or buckles, no dents, dints. Scratches, pierced work is perfect no breaking. The Blue glass insert is 100% perfect, no nibbles, cracks, chips, or scratches, simply perfect. This piece of WMF is simply in amazing condition and considering its over a 100years old, it must of been a cherished piece obviously lived its life in a display cupboard. Diameter of bowl : 10.2cm.
