Magnificent WMF Art Nouveau Silver Plated Britannia Champagne / Wine Bottle Cooler (2 full size Bottles). Signed with WMFB, AS, 1/0, Special order mark over the AS. Here we have magnificent a very rare WMF silver plated Wine / Champagne Bottle cooler, silver plated on Britannia metal, antique style finish. Its a large cooler, big enough for 2 full size bottles easily, plus a desert wine bottle. It has two beautiful decorated strong handles and stands on four elaborate raised feet, this WMF cooler has beautiful detailing and wonderful workmanship as you would expect from WMF.

The inside of the wine cooler walls are exceptional, the base does have some marks, obviously because of the wine bottles, a few dints and just some minor spotting, the photos did not pick this up due to the flash / reflection. As this magnificent piece of WMF has such a lot of detailing, photographs explain better than me. Please checkout the photos as they are an important part of the description and they will reflect the condition, Style and beauty of this beautiful WMF bottle / champagne cooler. Height on the legs : 27.0 cm.

Excellent Antique condition, very little silver loss on the main body, a little silver loss on the handles,, no nasty dents or dints on the main body, some minor light scratches. But nothing that detracts form the pieces beauty. No inscriptions or messages and has two empty cartouche.

To the interior of the cooler, side walls are in excellent Condition, the contact surface of the base just very minor silver loss, a few light bottle dints and some spotting. Again nothing that detracts from this pieces beauty. This Piece of WMF is 125 years old, looks wonderful, very stylish and is ready For work.
