WMF Antique Art Nouveau Silver Plated Pen tray. Lady & Water Lilly Leaf. Here we have a fabulous and very rare WMF antique Art Nouveau. Pen Tray, featuring a long water Lilly leaf with flower buds and a lady kneeling by the side.

The model number is 215 and is featured in the Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork From Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik 1906, Page 273. Interestingly enough this Pen tray was listed at 7 shillings which was the most expensive pen tray on the page. The tray is fully signed situated on the base underneath the lady. Width with lady sculpture : 6.5cm. Width without lady sculpture : 5.5cm.

Little silver loss to the tray or the kneeling Lady, No scratches or dents, dints or distorted metal work, a few rub marks, but very light and minimal considering its age, underneath the tray very little silver loss, a few scratches to the under leaf but very light and a small area (desk, object or contact scratches). The condition is excellent antique condition and is remarkable condition for being over 120 years old. This is a beautiful piece of WMF, superior quality and wonderful workmanship as you would expect from one of the best metal work companys in the world, WMF.
