WMF Silver plated Asparagus/ Fish Trident Server, Original Case, Hallmarked WMFN

Spectacular WMF Historicism, Silver Plated Asparagus / Fish Trident Server. Original Velvet & Silk lined Case. Very Rare and in Wonderful Condition. Here we have a spectacular WMF Historicism large asparagus / Fish Trident server in its original case, beautifully crafted and with an unusual Historicism design which is simply amazing.

This piece has obviously been kept in the draw as the condition is beautiful, no dents, buckles, scratches or Nickel silver loss, its design is a crisp as they day it was made. Its fully Hallmarked with WMFN which is very rare as the N stands for Neusilber and the 1/0 mark which relates to the thickness of silver used. Its original Case is in excellent condition, hinges, clasp and the interior is all excellent, a small stain on the silk lining, but no fraying of the velvet or the silk.

A few scuff marks on the leatherette, gold leaf around the box still whole and excellent. Width of the trident fork : 11.5cm.
