WMF Superb Original Art Nouveau Silver Plated Calling Card Tray, Signed, c1903

Superb Original WMF Art Nouveau, Silver Plated Couples Calling Card Tray. Recorded in the Art Nouveau Domestic Metalware Book Page 300 , model 196. Here we have a superb example of a very collectable WMF Art Nouveau Silver Plated Calling card tray, finished in Britannia & Antique silver finish. Its in overall Superb condition the polished Silver literally gleams with a few very tiny age related marks, (being very critical) a wonderful stylish piece from one of the best metalware makers in the world WMF. The WMF Marks are on the backside of the calling card tray situated on the back of the trellis work at the top of the tray, they are very small, but clear and deep marks, see photo 5.

Exceptional condition, No silver loss, no dents or dints, no scratches, No silver rubbings, No damage or repairs whatsoever. Some very fine polishing marks, to be expected really.

Over 118 years of age and a stunningly beautiful piece. Width widest point : 17 cm. Height : 1.6 cm highest point.
